I actually have never heard of the Atlanta neighborhood Cabbagetown ever before – and I have lived in Georgia 98% of my life. My sister and I actually accidentally stumbled upon the little neighborhood when we were lost trying to find Krog Street Market and it was pretty much the best 2 hour detour. Cabbagetown in Atlanta has just an insane amount of incredible art. Abstract, realistic, cartoonish, metaphorical, you name it, Cabbagetown has it! And it is ever-changing as murals are painted over and changed.
Be sure that while you walk around, you do a walk through the Krog Street Tunnel. It is covered in graffiti and it’s pretty much the coolest. I guarantee you will see a photo session r amateur rap video being shot in the tunnel.
